The Finishing Touch
The addition of hand stitch to a pieced cloth can enhance the look by way of texture, depth and form. It’s a layer of interest unlike any other. In this workshop, we’ll look at marks and patterns in the work of other artists and traditions, and in actual samples that you can study up close. You will then do your own montage and stitch experiments on fabric. With these examples, you will create a working study book for your future reference.
